Jeppe Girls fun run hits Kensington streets

Runners of all ages braved the cold morning of August 18 to participate in the annual 5km Jeppe Fun Run hosted by Jeppe High School for Girls.

The run began at 8am on Saturday and started on the grounds of Jeppe Girls. The run ended on the school’s sports grounds.

Father and daugther Courtney and Geff enjoyed the Jeppe Girls 5km fun run.

The fun run was followed by the Grade Nine Entrepreneurial Craft Market.

There were also a variety of food stalls.

Matthew Watkins and Zack Venturini from King Edward attended the Jeppe Girls 5km fun run.

Proceeds go to the Jeppe Girls Centenary Building Fund with a portion donated to the various charities which the school supports.

The 5km fun run was open for everyone to enjoy.
