Sacred Heart to host gala fund-raiser

Sacred Heart College will host a black tie gala dinner at Melrose Arch on October 18.

The aim of the event is to raise funds for a music, arts, drama and sports centre.

CEO of Standard Bank, who is an alumnus of the college, Sim Tshabalala, and former chairperson of Brand SA, Chichi Maponya, will host the event.

“These top South African business people will join in a panel discussion by former minister of public service, Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi and CEO of Business Arts South Africa, Michelle Constant,” said the school’s marketing co-ordinator Lynn Walker.

Walker said the topic of the panel discussion will be the challenges and prospects of an African economy.

Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse, Kagiso Lediga and Joey Rasdien, jazz legend Paul Hanmer, the Sacred Heart Marimba Band and a jazz band will entertain guests.

For more information, contact Walker at 011 081 2200 or email [email protected]
