Wits students donate to Jumpers’ children

Jumpers community leader Nomphelo Zozo with students from Wits.

Youngsters from Cotlands Day Care at Jumpers informal settlement were over the moon after they recently received stationery, tables and chairs from University of the Witwatersrand students.

The Cotlands teachers expressed their gratitude to the university students who made a wonderful contribution to the day care.

Community leader, Nomphelo Zozo, said she was overwhelmed when Wits students chose to donate to the Jumpers day care facility.

“I never thought they even knew that it existed. I am very grateful for their contribution,” said Zozo.

She said the youngsters will have enough chairs and tables.
